Main Street Station was located where Citizens Bank is today across from City Hall; near the intersection of East Hollis and Main Streets. This station was on the Worcester & Nashua Railroad. Soon after 1940, the station was moved from the tracks and spun 90 degrees and became an addition to the second Yankee Flyer diner. The station was still standing in 1953 and it can be assumed the station stood until the diner was moved to Massachusetts in 1965. In the 1990s the rails were pulled up downtown and in 2000 the 1.3 mile Nashua Heritage Rail Trail opened.
