Maine Central's Pacific Type Locomotive (4-6-2) Number 470 accelerates Train Number 57 for Rockland out of the Trainshed at Portland Union Station in the early 50's. The last Maine Central steam hauled train was pulled by Number 470 on June 13, 1954. On this occasion the 470 Railroad Club was formed and took its name after this Locomotive which now rests on display at Waterville, Maine.
