Maine Central's F3A Number 683, built in 1948, heads a Westbound Passenger Train on the Rockland Branch at Damariscotta Mills, Maine in August of 1950. This Unit along with others was traded to the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors for GP-38's in 1966.
