Crawford from Elephant's Head, White Mountains, N.H. Although not as grand a view is to be obtained as from Mt. Willard, one is well repaid fro the trouble in ascending this bare, rocky cliff, by means of a well trodden path in its read. Below you, wind into the distance the carriage and rail routes, through the notch, and far above tower the gigantic cliffs of Mts. Willey and Webster.
