Built in November 1941 in Schenectady, New York by the American Locomotive Company. Retired in 1962 after 1 million miles of service. 133 feet long. Weight: 1.2 million pounds. 6000 horsepower. Burned 12 ton of coal per hour. Capable of speeds of up to 80 mph. Cost new: $265,174.00. Now on display at Steamtown U.S.A. North Walpole, New Hampshire - Bellows Falls, Vermont.
