Message on reverse: "Dear Bertha, When I came up to Hartford to see you all the water wasn't over here at all and when I come home at night it was so you see how fast it rise. I get off at Station 33. This road is about a mile from the river bank where it overflowed. Many Thanks for the picture, had a nurse from the Hospital calling on us this p.m. and she was quite interested in all the patients you had taken. With Love Addie April 20, 1913"
