This car and two others like it was first used on the Hartford-Bristol third-rail line. After July 1906 all three were converted from two-motor cars to four-motor cars and equipped with trolley poles and sent to Providence for use on the Fall River or Bristol runs. Sometime in the 1920s they were sent to Nantasket where they remained until the end of operation, then scrapped.
