Baldwin-Westinghouse steeple-cab electric freight locomotives were owned by many traction lines in both the United States and Canada. The Seashore Trolley Museum's No. 300 was formerly operated on the Oshawa (Ontario) Railway, a subsidiary of the Canadian National system, which acquired the Class B 50-ton engine in 1923. Acquired by the museum in 1964, it arrived in Maine during the closing days of that year and is used extensively for maintenance and construction purposes.
