This single-end, "Pay as You Enter" car was built in 1911 by the Ottawa Car Co. Passengers entered at the rear, paid the conductor and then moved into the seating area. The smaller front door was for exit only. The beautifully restored interior features varnished cherry woodwork, authentic rattan seat upholstery, and original brass lighting fixtures. In the background is No. 2652, built in 1930, also from Montreal. These cars are on display and are occassionally operated at the Seashore Trolley Museum, Kennebunkport, Maine.
