Typical of double-deck tram cars operated in British towns and cities until recent years, No. 144 was built by the Blackpool Corporation in 1924, and was donated to the Seashore Trolley Museum in 1954. The car is occassionally operated at the museum on Sunday afternoons during the summer and has proven to be a popular attraction. "World's Oldest and Largest Electric Railway Museum."
