A crown jewel in the Seashore collection is the parlor car "City of Manchester," formerly owned by the Manchester (New Hampshire) Street Railway. Built in 1897 by the Briggs Carriage Company of Amesbury, Massachusetts, the car was completely restored by the Museum's shop crew in a project of several years' duration.
